Is this actually AI or a human advisor?

The diagnostic conversation is powered by AI trained on the Sharpen framework. It draws on the same knowledge base a human practitioner would use: 20 years of manufacturing operations experience across hundreds of plants. The output is a real, structured roadmap, not a generic report.

How does the 14-day trial work?

You enter a card but are not charged until day 15. Cancel any time during the 14 days and you owe nothing. After the trial, billing is $199 per month or $999 per year, depending on which plan you chose. No contract, cancel at any time.

How accurate are the financial estimates?

The estimates are based on conservative industry benchmarks for your plant size and product type. They are directional: intended to help you prioritize, not to serve as financial projections. Most plants find the actual opportunity is at the higher end of the range once they start implementing.

How is this different from hiring a consultant?

A consultant engagement typically costs $50K to $500K, takes months to complete, and leaves when the engagement ends. Sharpen gives you the same methodology on demand, at a fraction of the cost, with guides and templates you can execute yourself. For plants that want on-site support, a certified practitioner assessment is available.

What if my situation is too complex for a 10-minute diagnostic?

The diagnostic is designed to identify the highest-impact gaps quickly. For more complex operations or situations that require deeper analysis, the on-site diagnostic option puts a certified practitioner in your plant for a full assessment. Email hello@sharpenmfg.com to discuss.

What happens to the information I share?

The information you share during the diagnostic is used only to generate your roadmap. We do not store personally identifiable information from diagnostic sessions on our servers beyond what is required to email you the result. Your conversation is processed through Anthropic's API subject to their privacy policy.

Can I cancel the platform subscription anytime?

Yes. Month-to-month or annual, no long-term contract required. You keep access through the end of your billing period. The 14-day trial is free; no charge unless you continue past day 14.
